Washington Post Board: President Trump is ‘A Total Disgrace’
President Trump reversed his pledge to leave office peacefully within hours of saying he would leave office if the electors confirm President-elect. Now he’s saying that Joe Biden has to prove all of his 80 million votes were cast legally. No wonder the Washington Post editorial board has scathing criticism for this failed president.
“…leaving the White House just as he entered it: a total disgrace.”
WaPo’s editorial board published its opinion piece Wednesday night in which the world-renowned newspaper held nothing back in its criticism about Trump’s pardoning Michael Flynn. Flynn, his former national security adviser who pleaded guilty twice and openly admitted before a Federal Court that he lied during the Russia investigation to FBI investigators. The WaPo editorial board said…
“…we can only hope” the pardon “will be the last official degradation of his office.”
The WaPo editorial board has been a steady and repeated critic of the outgoing president and his administration, said that…
“at least for a couple more months” in Trump’s America, “guilty is innocent; lies are truth; traitors are patriots.”
The WaPo editorial board’s big question at this point…“Is not whether Mr. Trump has degraded the presidency” but instead is “how much long-term damage he has done.”
“Will future presidents now feel free to use the pardon power — or the other vast powers of office — with such nakedly crooked motives?” was the question WaPo left hanging for its readers…
“How many will calculate that they can make corruption appear to be patriotism as long as enough of the country wants to believe the lies they tell?”
The Washington Post left out the question as to whether Trump will pardon himself and his three oldest children along with Steve Bannon, Rudy Giuliani, and the dozens of other potential felons who violated the law. Also, whether they are now conspiring to overthrow the results of the election and essentially install Trump as President despite the legitimate President-elect Biden.
Former Apprentice Staffer Noel Casler Reveals All
Allowing a President of the United States to pardon himself would install a king and destroy our Republic for all purposes. A president who can pardon himself from crimes could literally order the Supreme Court members and opposition U.S. Senators put up against an executed without a trial, and then pardons himself for the murderers and pardon both the firing squad and all his sycophants that helped conduct the murders. This would undo the equality of the three government branches and turn the United States into a fascist state.
