The Federal and many state governments bought Hydroxychloroquine because Trump insisted it could be, was a miracle drug that “thousands of front line workers and he were taking” to prevent being infected with the coronavirus. Who profited from this SCAM?
Someone convinced President Trump that Hydroxychloroquine, a therapeutic drug for malaria, rheumatoid conditions, such as arthritis and some very rare diseases, was a miracle cure for the coronavirus. It even earned a “what do you have to lose by taking it?” He also admitted, “I’m taking it.”
Trump says he takes hydroxychloroquine drug for Covid-19
Now the U.S. stockpile is stuck with 63 million doses of hydroxychloroquine after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has revoked permission for the drug to be distributed to treat coronavirus patients. Trump, by the way, will never admit the drug has been proven worthless for battling the coronavirus .
Even the decision on Saturday, The National Institutes of Health (NIH) released a notice that it has halted a clinical trial evaluating the safety and effectiveness of drug hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for adults hospitalized with Covid-19 in the NIH said in a statement…
“A data and safety monitoring board met late Friday and determined that while there was no harm, the study drug was very unlikely to be beneficial to hospitalized patients with COVID-19.”
This mastermind counted on Trump’s refusal to admit he’s ever been wrong or punked. It has allowed whoever convinced him this drug was the miracle depended on Trump’s gullibility and expert of nothing. It asked today if hydroxychloroquine is beneficial in the treatment of COVID-19, I am sure you would get a resounding yes from the president.
The study found that those patients who were randomly assigned to receive the hydroxychloroquine treatment didn’t benefit from the drug, compared to those in the placebo group. The NIH said in its statement…
“In various studies, the drug had demonstrated antiviral activity, an ability to modify the activity of the immune system, and it has an established safety profile at appropriate doses, leading to the hypothesis that it may have also been useful in the treatment of COVID-19.”
