As schools are reopening for in-person classes, the country learns more than 97,000 children in the U.S. tested positive for the coronavirus in the last two weeks of July.
President Donald J. Trump is so desperate, so incredibly sociopathic and narcissistic that he is willing to risk the lives of millions of children, kids, family members and school personnel to win reelection.
Even before schools began reopening, a new report by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Children’s Hospital Association reported 97,000 children in the U.S. tested positive for the coronavirus in the last two weeks of July. The included data from 49 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico and Guam is especially alarming because it does not include complete data from Texas — which is going through an enormous surge in cases — or parts of New York, so the number of coronavirus cases among school-age children could be higher.
Health officials and hundreds of physicians, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, have been warning that the real number of people infected with the coronavirus may be much higher than is being reported. This is due to insufficient testing, and the lack of symptoms experienced by many infected people.
As of this morning, 5.2 million people are reported as being infected and more than 165,000 have died from COVID-19. This same study by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Children’s Hospital Association estimates more than 338,000 of the 5.2 million infected so far are children who are defined as being younger than 19. However, some states included people up to age 24, counting college-age kids.
The latest reports of children being infected were recorded before most schools began reopening. In just a few days, there is going to be growing concern among parents and students that Trump’s lie that Kids “Are Virtually Immune” from COVID-19 is going to end up being proven a horrible disaster.
The pressure to force school districts to reopen in-person classes from President Donald Trump and his administration has been intense. Trump has repeatedly threatened to punish school districts that don’t resume by cutting off federal funds to them if they don’t obey.
The intentional exposure of school children, teenagers, and young adults by extorting their schools and colleges into reopening in-person classes is not just a reckless policy, and it amounts to premeditated murder. The sole purpose of this narcissistic policy is to acquire an edge to get reelected.
When you consider the danger and how fast it will come clear that Trump has committed premeditated murder of children, teenagers, young adults, their parents, grandparents, and school personnel, the strategy is insane.
Fox & Friends co-host Ainsley Earhardt received the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Children’s Hospital Association news Monday morning: Children can contract the coronavirus.
“We’re all worried about sending our kids back to school, what is that going to look like for our country and for our elderly grandparents and things like that,” Earhardt said during the morning broadcast. “97,000 kids have tested positive? That was such a shock to me because I had heard kids really don’t get it, if they do, they’re all going to be OK.” Is it possible that the word of President Trump could so deceive a top news anchor?
President just recently claimed on her show that “If you look at children, children are almost—and I would almost say definitely—but almost immune from this disease.” “They don’t have a problem. They just don’t have a problem.” With all the “science “ being reported by today’s news, how is this deception possible?
It was President Trump’s specific false claim that prompted Facebook to finally take down one of his campaign’s posts, which featured the video clip from Fox. Twitter similarly blocked the Team Trump account from posting until they removed a tweet with that piece of misinformation.
The reopening of in-person school already generating news stories about new school outbreaks is likely to become the number one story in the news during the next 84 days. Trump is already looking like a lame-duck president, according to the polls. Never mind his bragging about his internal polls. News headlines about sick children, their families and school staff will end up turning a blue wave into a blue tsunami.
