Trump Will Fire His Lawyer, Joe Tacopina Blame Him for E.J. Carroll Loss!

Trump’s lawyer Joe Tacopina struggled to defend his client in the closing statements of a civil rape trial during his closing argument Monday. It was ugly, disgusting, and a pitiful summation that will prove disastrous. Trump will blame Tacopina, fire him, and stiff him on any legal fees owed him.

It was a disaster. Tacopina resorted to one disgusting argument after another and like a flailing prizefighter, managed to knock himself out. No amount of spin by the former president will help after he loses this defamation case and civil rape case. He will be labeled a rapist for the rest of his life.

Tacopina closed by telling the jury he could not prove Trump did not rape writer E. Jean Carroll.

"Ms. Carroll has abused the system," Tacopina said, according to Inner City Press correspondent Mathew Russell Lee.

"She brought a case for money and victimized real rape victims, exploiting their pain and suffering. We cannot let her profit from her abuse of this process."

"How do you prove a negative? If Donald Trump had come [to testify], what could I have asked him? About some unknown date? This is a civil case. They could have called Donald Trump. But they didn't. They just want you to hate him enough."

Lawyer George Conway explained it to MSNBC, saying that Trump has illustrated a pattern of behavior, and that pattern strengthens E. Jean Carroll's case.

This is a civil case. They could have called Donald Trump. But they didn't. They just want you to hate him enough." Lawyer George Conway explained it to MSNBC, saying that Trump has illustrated a pattern of behavior, and that pattern strengthens E. Jean Carroll's case.

Lawyer Michael Ferrara, the law partner to Robbie Kaplan, gave a rebuttal of Tacopina's closing statement, specifically going after Tacopina's comments about witnesses.

“I have an idea for him," Ferrara suggested. "It’s a little late, but maybe Donald Trump." Ferrara explained… “He never looked you in the eye and denied raping Ms. Carroll. He never did that.”

The jury will not only decide the verdict in the case, but they will decide how much Trump must pay Carroll. It's believed Trump will likely appeal whatever the verdict is. How much time and money does Trump have ahead with the likelihood of being bankrupted by Letitia James by November, indicted by Fani Willis in Georgia, and special council Jack Smith?

Continuing to call out Trump’s absence from the trial, Ferrara says to the jury that if someone accused you of rape, you’d run into the courtroom and tell the jurors it didn’t happen.
