Trump and the Republicans’ Jan 6 Cover-up is Unraveling!
The world now knows Trump violated the Klu Klux Klan Act of 1871 on January 6, thanks to several first-hand sources. It has been confirmed that besides the GOP House minority leader Kevin McCarthy calling Trump, both Mark Meadows and Ivanka Trump repeatedly tried to persuade disgraced former President Trump to take action to stop it.
Laurence Tribe, a Harvard Law Professor and practicing attorney who has won 35 cases argued in front of the U.S. Supreme Court, confirmed that under the Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871, President Trump was legally obligated to put down the January 6 insurrection with all the resources of the U.S government at the Capital.
A civil lawsuit was filed by Congressman Eric Swalwell (D-CA), other U.S. Congress members, and D.C. police officers who were injured or traumatized against Trump et al. who incited and facilitated the insurrection met with ridicule by the defendants and the Republican Party.
Professor Laurence Tribe believes this lawsuit is a nightmare for the former president. His delay in putting down the insurrection and the many witnesses that will be forced to testify to his conduct on January 6, 2021, could cost Trump billions of dollars personally. This is because the U.S. Department of Justice made clear in its denial of representation of Congressman Brooks that Trump’s Stop the Steal Rally on January 6 that led to the insurrection was a political event and not the business of governing.
All of this will also be paraded in front of the House Committee investigating the January 6, 2021 insurrection. Tribe calling Trump a “slippery eel” noted he still may slip out of all this.
