1.Geopolitical and Fiscal Events. Tuesday sees Federal Reserve New York President William Dudley speak. Thursday sees President Obama travel to the NATO Summit.

2.Economic Releases. Releases of note this week include the weekly chain store sales, oil/gas numbers, mortgage applications and factory orders, ADP Payrolls, Challenger, Gray & Christmas Job Cuts and nonfarm payrolls.

3.Earnings Releases. Notable releases include AZZ ISCA WBA MRVL PEP HELE.

Monday, July 4

Markets are closed in the United States for the Fourth of July.

Tuesday, July 5

May Factory Orders are due out at 10:00 a.m. EDT and are expected to fall to -0.9% from 1.9%.

Wednesday, July 6

June ADP Payroll is due out at 8:15 a.m. EDT.

European Central Bank (ECB) President Mario Draghi speaks early Wednesday morning, 2:00 a.m. EDT.

The latest Federal Reserve Open Market Committee (FOMC) Meeting Minutes are released 2:00 p.m. EDT.

Thursday, July 7

June Challenger, Gray & Christmas Job Cuts are due out at 7:45 a.m. EDT and are expected to .

President Obama travels to Poland and will attend the NATO Summit

Friday, July 8

June Nonfarm Payrolls are due out at 8:30 a.m. EDT and are expected to rise to 180,000 from 38,000. The unemployment rate is expected to rise to 4.8% from 4.7%.
