1.Geopolitical and Fiscal Events. Wednesday sees Federal Reserve Open Market Committee (FOMC) meets on Tuesday with a decision Wednesday followed by Chairman Jerome Powell’s press conference. Thursday sees the BOJ and BOE out with decisions.
2.Economic Releases. Releases of note this week and next include the weekly chain store sales, oil/gas numbers, mortgage applications and jobless claims as well as Empire Manufacturing, NAHB Housing Market, Housing Starts, Philadelphia Fed Index, Leading Indicators and Existing Home Sales.
3.Earnings Releases. Notable releases this upcoming week include ADBE JBL ORCL SCS RHT KR DRI KMX.

June Empire Manufacturing was out at 8:30 a.m. and came in at -8.6 from last month’s 10.1.
June NAHB Housing Market Index was out at 10:00 a.m. EDT and came in at 64 from -66.
Tuesday, June 18
May Housing Starts are due out at 8:30 a.m. EDT and are expected to rise to 1,230,00 from 1,139,000.
Wednesday, June 19
The Federal Reserve Open Market Committee (FOMC) is out with its latest announcement at 2:00 p.m. EDT and then press conference with Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell at 2:30 p.m. EDT.
Thursday, June 20
The Bank of Japan (BOJ) is out with its latest interest rate decision.
The Bank of England (BOE) is out with its latest announcement and minutes.
June Philadelphia Fed Index is due out at 8:30 a.m. EDT and is expected to rise to 11.5 from 8.5.
May Leading Indicators are due out at 10:00 a.m. EDT and are expected to fall to 0.1% from 0.4%.

May Existing Home Sales are due out at 10:00 a.m. EDT and are expected to rise to 5.30 million from 5.19 million
