President Trump Caves: Ends Government Shutdown No Wall Money Involved
President Trump announced a deal to temporarily reopen the federal government for three weeks after 34 day shutdown. Trump promise to sign an agreement worked out between Democrat and Republican leaders this afternoon. The deal was absent of any funding for a border wall despite weeks of demands by President Trump.

Following a miserable day for President Trump on thursday where his family and key administration officials created a series of ... "let them eat cake" optics, he realized it was time to cave in and re-open government.

The straws that may have broken the Trump shutdown was the several severe slowdowns at major airports around the country and a video realeased by the Director of the FBI in which he made it known he was angry about the impact the shutdown was having on his bureau.

Though the Continuing Resolution (CR) is for just three weeks. It's unlikely the GOP controlled Senate will as Leader Mitch McDonnell is fond of saying, "take another kick in the head from the mull."
