I sometimes wonder if the United States history of racism and religious intolerance will ever be seen in a rear view window. U.S. history has been so far burdened by white nationalism that worked to keep the Chinese, Irish, Italians, Mexican’s, Latino’s, Jews, Muslims out of our country because some politicians or radical hate groups considered them filthy animals that carry diseases are lazy and outright undesirable. Now the bigot in Chief is parroting this nonsense.
The same racial and religious nonsense that was used to keep the M.S. St. Louis a German ocean liner that carried more than 900 Jewish refugees from Nazi Germany in 1939 from docking and allowing them to enter the U.S. lead to their being returned to Germany and to be rounded up by the Nazis and sent to concentration “death camps”.

“We have people coming into the country, or trying to come in — we’re stopping a lot of them,” “You wouldn’t believe how bad these people are. These aren’t people, these are animals, and we’re taking them out of the country at a level and at a rate that’s never happened before.”
The president’s disgusting rhetoric and his focus on California drew sharp comments in response by former Democratic governor Jerry Brown, yesterday...
“Trump is lying on immigration, lying about crime and lying about the laws of California. Flying in a dozen Republican politicians to flatter him and praise his reckless policies changes nothing. We, the citizens of the fifth-largest economy in the world, are not impressed.”
