During an interview on MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell, Joyce Vance, a former federal prosecutor, and now Professor of law at the University of Alabama says that there is a good chance that Robert Mueller has already concluded that President Trump is a target. Even if he is not named in an indictment, he will be an unindicted (John Doe) co-conspirator in the Russia investigation.
This analysis confirms what sources in Washington have shared with me that President Trump learned from his lawyers over last weekend that his son, Donald Trump Jr., Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Trump himself have had their designations changed from “Subjects” to “Targets” of the Mueller probe.
The likelihood of Trump being an unindicted co-conspirator in the Russia investigation means that Russian President Putin is likely to be named in an indicted co-conspirator.
Wall Street.com sources insist a bombshell indictment will be unsealed as early as August 30, 2018, and that President Trump is likely to be “John Doe” in the unveiled indictment as an unindicted co-conspirator and, a sealed indictment that will be waiting for President Trump the day he leaves office.
This news sent the President on a Twitter storm last Sunday which has intensified ever since. In his rants, Trump Tweeted that Attorney General Jeff Sessions … “should stop this rigged witch hunt,” … heightening his attacks on the special counsel’s investigation into whether his campaign colluded with Russia in the 2016 presidential election and whether he obstructed justice.
Yesterday the Trump Administration’s national security team including the heads of the FBI, HHS, DOJ and National Security Council each declared in a White House Press Briefing that Russia has been and continued to wage a cyberwar against the United States in 2016. That war is still underway in an attempt to among other things to affect the 2018 mid-term elections.
Last night, however, President Trump called the Mueller Russian investigation and the indictment of Paul Manafort, twenty-three Russian agents – The Russian hoax. WallStreetRebel.com sources caution.
President Trump is so upset that he’s capable of doing anything at this point including pardoning his former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, who has been charged and is already on trial for tax evasion, money laundering, and bank fraud and defrauding the United States, related to his work as a pro-Russia lobbyist in Ukraine.
His lawyers have cautioned the President, his personal andWhite House advisors that pardoning Manafort who is still on trial and faces another trial after this first one is completed could be disastrous for the GOP going into the mid-term elections.
Pardoning a tax cheat, a person who has defrauded more than one U.S. Bank of almost $30 million, could potentially destroy the argument that the President and the GOP have been making that they are on the side of the little guy. Especially as reports that Trump is about to cut another $100 billion in taxes for the ultra-rich in this country.
Meanwhile, while this nightmare unfolds in Washington …
· China is warning the United States that if Trump imposes additional sanctions on Chinese imports, they will reciprocate and impose tariffs on $60 Billion on other U.S. imports to China.
· Over 700 migrant Children have yet to be returned to their parents.
· No progress has been made on renegotiating NAFTA with Canada and Mexico.
· Trump has suddenly decided that Russian aluminum workers are being hurt U.S. sanctions and is considering lifting those sanctions. This would relieve that financial pain of a key Russian Oligarch personally friendly with Trump and Putin.
