Trump FIRES top intelligent expert and replaces him with an unqualified inexperienced stooge. Time for Americans to recognize President Trump is bought, paid and has been delivered by one or more of Putin’s Oligarchs. Trump tax returns and Deutsche Bank records would lead to one conclusion – President Trump is a Russian asset.
When Robert Litt, former General Counsel for the Director of National Intelligence, expressed his outrage over the ongoing reports, Russia is planning to intervene and even attempt to rig the 2020 presidential election in Trump’s favor… Trump's reaction was to fire his intelligence expert. Litt during a
A Thursday interview on CNN’s Erin Burnett’s “OutFront.” Erin Burnett cut to the heart of the revelation by asking Robert Litt about Trump…
“Why do you think he refuses to accept the intelligence, and now, by his behavior and this coincidence that is not a coincidence, seems to be having the same reaction again?”
Well, I don’t want to go into psychoanalyzing the president, but it’s pretty clear that he views the possibility that the Russians attempted to influence the election on his behalf is undercutting his legitimacy in some respect,”
“He’s working backward from that conclusion to talk about the facts … this has been a consistent pattern all along of denial of what the intelligence community is finding.”
A classified briefing to House lawmakers sent President Trump to angrily complain that Democrats would “weaponize” the disclosure that Russia was interfering in the 2020 campaign to try to get President Trump re-elected, according to five sources close to the matter according to the New York Times.
The day after the briefing lawmakers, President Trump verbally dressed down Joseph Maguire, the now outgoing acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI), for allowing the briefing to take place people familiar with the exchange according to the Times.
Mr. Trump complained that Representative Adam B. Schiff, the California Democrat who is the Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and chaired Trump’s impeachment proceedings “as a particular irritant” according to a source cited by the New York Times.
The facts and danger of Russian election interference underway gave Trump’s GOP allies on the House Intelligence Committee to immediately challenge the conclusions, arguing that he has been tough on Russia and strengthened European security. “The same song and dance” by Aerosmith should be the theme song of the 2020 Democratic candidate nominee.
The Times reporting included a frightening paragraph claiming
“Some intelligence officials viewed the briefing as a tactical error, saying that had the official who delivered the conclusion spoken less pointedly or left it out, they would have avoided angering the Republicans.”
That intelligence official who had the audacity not to recognize a cover-up should be initiated was Shelby Pierson, an aide to Mr. Maguire.
Pierson has a reputation for delivering intelligence in somewhat blunt terms. Trump’s reaction to being told the truth was to announce he was replacing Mr. Maguire with Richard Grenell, the ambassador to Germany and long an aggressively vocal Trump stooge with no serious intelligence service experience.
Grenell will assume the responsibilities of acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI), which is an enormous job, but reportedly at the same time will remain the Ambassador of Germany.
Grenell, to some, will appear to be doing two jobs, but he will be doing a third job which is to help protect Trump’s new cover-up of Russian interference. Trump must believe Richard Grenell if needed, will help cover up current Russian hacking and compromising U.S. election security. With an incompetent and corrupt political hack as DNI, the Russians will have free reign to fix the 2020 election with means they can mastermind..
The House Intelligence Committee was convened on February 13 for a briefing regarding an important update about “the integrity of our upcoming elections,” according to members of the committee including the assurance that members of both parties attended, including Representative Devin Nunes of California, the top Republican on the committee.
A spokeswoman for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, and its election security officials declined to comment to several news services inquiries and a White House spokesman has not as of yet, respond to requests for comment.
Russian President Vladimir Putin is going to do whatever he can get away with to re-elect President Trump. This is precisely what Putin was accused of during the 2016 election, and admitted to in Helsinki in 2017, during the two president’s joint press conference. President Trump heard Putin’s admission and still insists to this day the Russian interference is a hoax.
Trump’s replacement of Joseph Maguire as DNI is punishment for merely complying with the law and constitutional duty to cooperate with Congressional oversight. If Richard Grenell covers up the second general election of Russian intervention in our nation’s history the democratic nominee for President will literally be running against Trump and Putin.
Moscow Mitch McConnell will be all in, to another Russian election fix. In 2016 he outright refused President Obama’s request for a bipartisan disclosure of the Russian election acts of war.
Ironically, President Trump has repeatedly complained that President Obama took no action to stop Russian election interference. Now that Trump’s is president, his approach is to make it as easy as possible for Putin to meddle.
George Washington must be turning in his grave.
